“Nice to meet you, Duchess,” stroking white little white patch of fur upon the cat’s head. “A-alright. We really should look for them.” It was true that her kittens mattered more than her own health. Belle still had a discouraged look on her face about Duchess’s decision, remembering to the time when Adam was a beast and he was harmed by a pack of wolves. Overall, it wasn’t worth risking the young ones being hurt as well. “Duchess, do you remember anything that happened. Did you see or hear anyone, anything that might have happened?”
Duchess’ memory was still hazy from her abrupt awakening. She creased her eyebrows in confusion and glanced towards the ground. “Well…I remember that we were all riding with Madame through the forest. The children were playing by Madame’s feet and I was sitting with her. We were on our way from Paris to visit an old friend in the country.” Duchess paused, trying to remember what had happened next. Her head was still pounding and the pain from her paw was fighting for some of her focus. She turned and glanced back out into the forest. Images slowly started to come back to her. “Oh! Suddenly our horse, Frou-Frou, became startled by…something, I don’t remember… She began running and our butler tried to control her.” Duchess’ voice intensified. Everything began to come back now. “I jumped down to gather my darlings as we were flung around by Frou-Frou’s running. My little Marie fell first and as I yelled for her, Frou-Frou made a sharp turn and all of us were thrown. That is the last thing that I remember, but we were being chased by something…” Everything seemed so hazy, but she faintly remembered the sound of growling.
Duchess froze and terror washed over her face. “Wolves!” she gasped. “Oh, my dear, I must find my children!”
Belle listened, creases of grief grew upon her face as Duchess recalled what happened. “Wolves…” she echoed looking around with a mysterious, fearful look in her eyes. “We will find them,” she said as firmly as she could. “But your Madame and the butler? What of them?” she gasped, covering her mouth, “they could be hurt, too!”
Our Belle doesn’t have a Gaston to bug her and also we all know you can’t have him without his little companion, Lefou.
And our Kuzco and Malina doesn’t have a Yzma or Kronk to foil their plans. And they don’t have their friend, Pacha, either.
Our Snow White is still looking her Prince Ferdinand.
And our Giselle and Edward doesn’t have a Queen Narissa and Nathaniel to run away from.
Our Marie is looking for her family including Berlioz, Toulouse, Thomas O’Malley and Madame Adelaide Bonfamille.
Our Rapunzel and Eugene doesn’t have the Stabbington Brothers to terrorize them.
And don’t forget Lilo, Stitch’s and Nani’s friends such as David, Jumba and Peakley.
And last but not least, our Jim Hawkins doesn’t have his friend John Silver to show him the ropes….or at least how to tie them.
